The Beauty + The Brand.

Hi! My name is Hadiyah (you pronounce that ha-DEE-yuh) and I’m your FAIRY GLOW MOTHER®. Cool name, huh? It came to me in the middle of the night like an epiphany and a few months later I enrolled in school to become licensed. It’s been a really exciting journey since 2016.

In the beginning, I thought I wouldn’t even perform services. I had only gone to school to learn the technical sides of the business but figured I’d never actually be the one working. Life is so funny. While I was in school, I absolutely fell in love with all aspects of esthetics (except for applying lash extensions) and so when I became licensed, FAIRY GLOW MOTHER® was born.

Specializing in serving multicultural skin tones and helping anyone with skin care issues related to hormones such as transitioning and PCOS has always been a priority to me. The skin care industry has largely ignored deeper skin tones and hormone-related skin care issues that aren’t acne. So I wanted to change that.

I’ve been certified by Face Reality, PCA Skin, DMK, Elemis, Skinceuticals and Sweet & True Sugaring Co. among others. And I also use these brands in my studio.

All services provided at FAIRY GLOW MOTHER® are currently done by me. You’re guaranteed a high level of professionalism and quality! I can’t wait to meet you.

Hadiyah Daché, Interdisciplinary Entrepreneur.

FAIRY GLOW MOTHER® has enabled me to stretch the confines of entrepreneurship and explore creative ways to build a business. Especially during a pandemic.

In 2020, with the studio being closed, FAIRY GLOW MOTHER® was able to branch into the e-commerce, skin care CPG/DTC, and media spaces. These are all ventures I intend to keep up even after COVID is over.

GLOWDEGA®, a lifestyle bodega, was launched in June of 2020. FAIRY GLOW MOTHER® skin care is sold there exclusively as well as official merch from the studio and other professional skin care brands.

The latest venture, SNATCH & GAB™, is an unique audio/visual podcast experience that launched in October of 2020.

In January 2021, I was featured in an international beauty industry trend report as an entrepreneur to watch.

Running a beauty business keeps me pretty, well, busy but in my free time I love to DJ for my parents, write about anything that isn’t skin care related, and explore the world (when a global pandemic isn’t happening).

I’m an East Palo Alto native and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media from Clark Atlanta University. Prior to working in the beauty industry, I worked in the tech industry holding various marketing positions focused on growth.
