RESCHEDULING: In the event that you need to reschedule your appointment, we ask that you do so at least 48 hours in advance. There is no fee for rescheduling your appointment within 60 days. If you need to reschedule due to COVID-19 exposure, we recommend rescheduling 30 days from your appointment date. If you do not see the option to reschedule for your desired date, please reach out to book@fairyglowmother.com so we can assist.

CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS: For all appointments cancelled within the 48-hour appointment window and no-shows, you will be charged for the full cost of your service. Our cancellation and no-show policy is firm.

COVID-19 COMPLIANCE: Starting February 1, 2022, the City of Oakland requires proof of vaccination to enter most indoor businesses. Because our business is located inside of a larger, communal building we are requiring the same to keep everyone safe. You can upload this information at the time of booking or send in a copy of your vaccination card via email. When you arrive for your appointment you must sign a COVID-19 liability form which is required to enter the building. This form requires you to disclose your personal information and the building submits this information to the County. Reading and signing the form is required to receive services.

APPOINTMENT INTAKE: You will need to complete an intake form prior to your appointment. You can fill this out at any time before your appointment and this form link is also included in your confirmation email. If you are unable to complete the form prior to arrival, you may not receive a facial service within your appointment time slot. Please note: you may need to upload three clear photos of your face to this form (front of face, right side, left side). For best results, please take these photos before completing your form. All information submitted on these forms are confidential.

APPOINTMENT PREPARATION: Please refrain from doing anything special to your skin in the two weeks leading up to your appointment. This includes masks (DIY, homemade, or otherwise), exfoliating treatments (chemical or physical), cosmetic fillers/injectables, cosmetic tattoos, laser hair removal, shaving (for clients booking waxing or sugaring appointments), eyelash extension applications, and any extensive surgery in the areas that may be worked on during your appointment.
